The Tenda SG108 is an 8-port unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for small office and home network environments. Featuring 8 auto-negotiation RJ45 ports with speeds up to 10/100/1000 Mbps and auto MDI/MDIX support, this switch offers seamless plug-and-play connectivity without the need for configuration.
Built to comply with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3x, and 802.3ab standards, the SG108 delivers reliable store-and-forward transmission with a robust switching capacity of 16 Gbps, ensuring fast and stable data flow. It supports jumbo frames up to 9K bytes and maintains a MAC address table of 4K entries, suitable for managing multiple devices efficiently.
Encased in a compact black plastic housing measuring 124 x 59 x 23 mm, the fanless design ensures silent operation, while its form factor allows for convenient desktop placement or wall mounting. Indicators include one power LED and eight link/activity LEDs for easy network status monitoring.
The switch operates with an external power adapter (9V/0.6A) and has a maximum power consumption below 4W, making it energy efficient. It also features ESD protection against air and contact discharges for enhanced durability.
