The Cudy GS1008PT 1.0 is an 8-port unmanaged Gigabit PoE+ desktop switch tailored for small network installations needing power delivery and network expansion simultaneously. It features eight 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports, all supporting PoE/PoE+ (802.3af/at), enabling both data and power delivery to devices like IP cameras, access points, and VoIP phones without separate power lines. The switch offers a total PoE budget of 120 W, with its first two ports able to supply up to 60 W each, while the remaining ports provide up to 30 W each. It supports “Extend mode” for long-distance PoE transmission (up to 250 m, at reduced speed) and includes basic VLAN mode for traffic segmentation. With a switching capacity of 16 Gbps and throughput of about 11.9 million packets per second, it’s ideal for small-to-medium setups needing both connectivity and power.
