Thermal Grizzly PhaseSheet PTM Thermal Pad

The Thermal Grizzly PhaseSheet PTM is an advanced thermal pad built using phase-change material (PCM) technology, designed to combine the ease of pad installation with the thermal performance of a paste under load. At room temperature it remains solid for convenient handling and placement, but once temperatures exceed around 45 °C the material begins to liquefy, allowing it to flow into microscopic gaps between the heat source and heatsink, reducing interface resistance. After several thermal cycles (≈10 above 60 °C), it stabilizes in performance, offering consistent thermal conductivity over its lifetime. The pad is electrically non-conductive, making it safe for use on CPUs, GPUs, and other vulnerable components. Because it contracts when solidifying after cooling, it also helps minimize the pump-out effect (where pastes are forced out over many heat cycles), which is a common issue with traditional thermal greases under repeated thermal expansion and contraction. For optimal performance, high contact pressure (≈300-400 N) is recommended to achieve a very thin layer and full adherence. Its operating temperature range is about –75 °C to +150 °C. Because of these qualities, the PhaseSheet PTM is especially suitable for applications like GPU repasting or retrofitting older hardware where longevity and resistance to pump-out are important, giving you a “semi-liquid, pad-style” thermal interface that combines flexibility and durability.
