Description
Sony ECM-V1BMP Lavalier Microphone
The omnidirectional lavalier microphone, Sony ECM-V1BMP has a locking 3.5mm connector and is specifically designed to work with certain Sony bodypack transmitters, such as the UWP series. The omnidirectional polar design of the microphone allows it to capture sound in a 360° circle around the mic capsule, which aids in maintaining consistent levels even when the performer rotates away from the capsule. The electret condenser capsule may operate with a power source of 1.1 to 10 VDC, although it is designed to work on 5 VDC. The ECM-V1BMP has a 3.9' long, 2.3mm diameter wire with a frequency response that spans 40 Hz to 20 kHz. The microphone comes with a windshield to cut down on breath and wind noise and a lapel clip to fasten it to clothes.
