Mikrotik CCR2116-12G-4S+RM 1000 Mbps Frequency 2000MHz Network Router

The Mikrotik CCR2116-12G-4S+10G Cloud Core Router combines the full power of old-school, dependable 10G networking with a contemporary CPU. CCR2116-12G-4S+ enables you to disregard CPU constraints in your configuration. This router, like its younger brother, the incredible CCR2004, is powered by the formidable Amazon Annapurna Labs Alpine CPU. However, with 16 cores working at 2 GHz, this CCR devours the other. For example, we find at least a 15% improvement in single-core performance. And this is crucial when it comes to large processes dependent on per-connection processing. For example, consider queues. CCR2116-12G-4S+ establishes a new standard for single-core performance throughout the whole CCR product line! Furthermore, it supports Layer 3 Hardware Offloading. To harness this power, you must have the proper link. There are four 10G SFP+ ports available. They have a dedicated full-duplex connection to the Marvell Aldrin family switch chip. Then there are the Gigabit Ethernet ports. The Marvel chip is powering 12 of them. Another Gigabit port is directly attached to the CPU. For administrative considerations. Each set of four ports has its full-duplex connection to the switch chip. There are no bottlenecks here. In most cases, you may expect switch-like throughput. The current generation of CPUs provides astounding performance. When compared to the CCR1036 - a monster with a 36 core CPU - the new CCR2116 easily doubles the performance. 16 cores versus 36 cores Increase your performance by double. Or maybe even more. If you are a major ISP dealing with dynamic routing, enormous BGPs, sophisticated firewall rules, and elaborate QoS sets. This is the appropriate gadget for you. Raw power and utility combined with dependable 10G networking. Yes, we've integrated a dual-redundant power supply, as with any ISP-level equipment. So you have one less thing to be concerned about. The Mikrotik CCR2116-12G-4S+ Cloud Core Router comes with a 01-year warranty.
