The DeepCool AK500 G2 DIGITAL NYX is the latest evolution of the AK-series air CPU cooler — combining proven cooling hardware with smart digital monitoring and AI-driven fan control. It uses a single-tower heatsink with five 6 mm copper heat pipes and a precision-machined copper base, paired with a dense “matrix” fin stack to deliver efficient heat dissipation for high-performance CPUs on both Intel (LGA1851 / 1700 / 1200 / 115x) and AMD (AM5 / AM4) platforms. What sets the DIGITAL NYX apart is the built-in quad-segmented digital display embedded in the top cover: it shows real-time CPU temperature, usage, wattage, and frequency, giving you live feedback on system status. The cooler’s fan uses a refined hydraulic bearing and a three-phase, six-slot, four-pole motor with PWM control up to ~2200 RPM, offering smooth, quiet airflow and a 0-RPM startup-stop feature for silent idle. Using the companion software (DeepCreative), the cooler can dynamically adjust its fan-speed curve in real time — balancing cooling performance with noise, depending on CPU load. Also included is an “Activate Clearing Tech (ACT)” dust-cleaning function that, on power-on, spins off dust from the fan blades and heatsink, helping longevity and maintenance. The overall dimensions are roughly 129×117×159 mm, making it compact enough to fit many mid-tower cases while maintaining compatibility with RAM and other components thanks to an offset-heat-pipe design.
