ASUS RT-BE92U Tri-Band WiFi 7 Smart AiMesh Extendable Router

The ASUS RT-BE92U Tri-Band WiFi 7 Smart AiMesh Extendable Router is a fast, secure, and reliable WiFi router for smart homes. The router is compatible with the latest WiFi standard, WiFi 7 or IEEE 802.11be, with a tri-band speed of up to 9700 Mbps. The speed is enhanced with a fast 6 GHz band that is ideal for lag-free gaming, 8K streaming, cloud computing, and AI operations. Additionally, it has 320 MHz channels, 4K-QAM, and full support for Multi-Link Operation capabilities to transfer data faster, utilise bandwidth better, and provide a stable connection on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands. AI-powered technology AiMesh enables connection coverage up to a maximum of 2,750 sq. ft., and all other routers can be synchronised under a single network name. Features include smart wireless and wired backhaul with 10G and 2.5G Ethernet, which provides fast performance in thick-walled homes. Smart AiMesh MLO prioritises traffic in the most efficient band.

The RT-BE92U provides up to 20G bandwidth through a single 10G WAN/LAN port and four 2.5G LAN ports, in addition to Multi-WAN auto detect. With this technology, Internet connection via 4G LTE/5G mobile hotspots can be achieved using a USB connection. A strong CPU with 1 GB of RAM provides reliable performance for constant connections. Several antennas and high-power components assist in eliminating dead zones. Vertical orientation with a wall mounting kit provides better airflow, making it suitable for mounting on walls or desks.

ASUS Network Security with AiProtection by Trend Micro ensures constant protection with automatic updates and notifications. Smart Home Master allows operation of IoT devices, a safe zone for kids, and VPN support with individual SSIDs. Family safety solutions include built-in parental control, tracking, and scheduling. They include WireGuard, OpenVPN, Instant Guard, and Multi VPN connections, which can all be controlled using the ASUS Router app.
