UGREEN CM321 (70609) USB-A to 2.5-inch SATA Converter

The UGREEN CM321 (70609) is a USB-A to SATA III adapter cable that lets you quickly connect 2.5-inch SATA SSDs and HDDs to a computer or device with a USB-A port — without the need to open your PC case or install drivers. It uses a USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) interface on the host side and a standard SATA III (7+15 pin) connection on the drive side, delivering fast data transmission up to 5 Gbps for tasks like file transfers, backups, disk cloning, and data recovery. Built-in support for UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) and TRIM boosts SSD performance and efficiency compared with regular USB-to-SATA converters, helping reduce latency and improve throughput on supported systems. The adapter is plug-and-play, bus-powered (no extra power supply required for 2.5″ drives), and compatible with a wide range of operating systems — including Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS — as well as game consoles like PS4/PS3 and Xbox. It includes a 50 cm cable and often features a LED indicator to show connection status. Note that it does not support 3.5″ SATA hard drives because those require an external power source. With its durable build and broad compatibility, the CM321 is a convenient solution for accessing and managing internal storage externally.
