PNY RP60 1TB USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C Portable SSD

The PNY RP60 1 TB USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type‑C Portable SSD is an ultra‑fast, rugged external storage solution designed for creators, professionals and power users who need high throughput on the go. It uses a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 (20 Gbps) interface to deliver blazing sequential read speeds of up to ~2,000 MB/s and write speeds up to ~1,800 MB/s when connected to a compatible high‑speed host. The drive is built with durability in mind: it features an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, drop resilience up to 3 m (9.8 ft), and a protective rubberised shell complete with an integrated loop for clipping onto gear or a backpack. It includes a USB‑C to USB‑C cable (and in some markets also a USB‑C to USB‑A adapter) and comes bundled with data‑protection software (Acronis True Image) so you can easily back up or clone data. While its high top‑end speed caters to compatible devices, actual performance will vary if connected to slower ports; real‑world sustained write speeds may drop after extended transfers. Altogether, the RP60 is a compelling choice for external high‑performance storage that balances speed, ruggedness and portability.
