Description
The KingSpec OneBoom X400 (1 TB) is a high-speed M.2 2280 NVMe SSD that leverages a PCIe 4.0 ×4 interface and NVMe 1.4 protocol to deliver blazing read/write performance, with up to 7,400 MB/s sequential read and up to ~6,600 MB/s write according to the manufacturer. Built using 3D-TLC NAND and operating at DC 3.3 V, the X400 offers a decent lifespan rated for 600 TBW on the 1 TB model per its spec sheet. The form factor is M.2-2280 (M-key), which makes it compatible with most modern desktops, laptops, and even some gaming consoles. It’s also designed to operate reliably in a wide temperature range — from 0°C to 70°C — and is backed by a 3-year warranty from KingSpec. Because of its very high bandwidth, it’s especially good for gaming, video editing, large file transfers, and any workload that benefits from fast storage; however, to get full speed you’ll need a motherboard with PCIe 4.0 support.
