The DeepCool RGB Converter is a compact voltage-transformer hub made for users who want to adapt 5 V addressable RGB (ARGB) devices (with 3-pin headers) to operate compatibly on a motherboard or RGB controller that uses the older 4-pin +12 V RGB format. Instead of discarding ARGB fans or strips just because your motherboard only supports 12 V RGB, this converter enables synchronized RGB lighting by converting both the voltage and the signal. It gets its power via a SATA 5 V input, has multiple ports so you can connect both +5 V ARGB and +12 V RGB devices, and uses magnet or Velcro mounting options for neat installation. Note that while it allows many mainstream RGB effects like static colours and brightness to work, some of the more complex ARGB-specific modes (rainbow, breathing, individually addressable features) may not be preserved fully in every setup.
