The Canon RF-S18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM Lens is intended to serve as a versatile accessory for Canon APS-C R Series mirrorless cameras. With an equivalent zoom range of 29-240mm, it can capture views from wide angle to telephoto. The 18-150mm produces aberration-free images by combining two aspherical and one UD element. By reducing flare and ghosting, a Super Spectra Coating offers additional assistance. Customers will have the option of using a preset setting or manual focus using a Control Ring that can be customized. A lead screw-type STM stepping AF motor provides smooth and quiet autofocus that works well for both still images and videos. Furthermore, when used with a compatible camera, the lens's Optical Image Stabilizer can compensate for up to 4.5 stops of camera shake or up to 6.5 stops when used in conjunction with Coordinated IS.
